Has anyone applying for PR in the spousal category had to send additional requested documents to CHC London? We are in that situation and have just sent off the requested documents. We were told it could take "up to" 4 months, but are wondering if it will actually take that long. When we initially submitted our application, we were told it would take up to 6 months and we heard back in 3... should we take this as an indication that they are working ahead of schedule??

I'm the spouse being sponsored by Virgosah (Hi honey ). We got the interview waver with our request for a police check, but i think you don't usually get one until you get your passport request. Our timeline is below:

Submitted to Mississuaga: end May 2004
Sponsor accepted: 24th June
Application received in London: 9th July 2004
Receipt of Application: 12th July 2004
Received request for police check: 15th October 2004
Applied for police check: 15th October
Received police check: (some time last week)
Sent police check to CHC: (some time last week)
Heading off to Vancouver: 8th december 2004

Now just waiting for passport request!!
