Default skilled worker - questions on new forms, adding a relative

I've submitted an application for immigration to Canada as Independent
Skilled Worker last June 2002. I've received advise that I need to
re-submit using the new forms. I have 2 questions I'd like to post to
the group:

1. Based on the new point system, I will need 75 points to pass,
however, I still lack 6 points. I am deciding whether to just
withdraw the application or not. If I withdraw now, I will get a
refund of the processing fee. If ever I withdraw the application,
then try to acquire more points before re-applying, would my second
application be affected by the first one?

2. I have a relative in Canada that I did not put in my earlier
application, because I was not able to get proof of relationship in
time for submission. Would it be possible to add my relative now
using the new forms? If this is possible, the additional 5 points are
still not enough to meet the 75 pass mark.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I applied at the Manila office in June 2002.

Because I lack several points, I've decided to withdraw my application
already. Will try to get more points and re-apply after a year or so.
Question: Will the new application be affected by the old application?

Hi W2i

I applied also in Manila last May 2002 and received the new form and I filled it up all the new informations and submitted only last month. I'm presently working here in KSA for 6 years.

I thinked there is no problem adding your relative in canada as long as your relative are stated on the category which you can use it in your application. just attached your supporting documents.

I will suggest not to withdraw your application, just trust to yourself and of course faith in God and need more prayers...

Goodluck!
