Evening All

We applied in August 2004 through Four Corners, December 2006 we had a 90letter advising us to re-submit documents by the 15th February. We received a letter on the 21st May asking us to go for our meds, these are now booked in for 3rd July. Four Corners advised that visa's can then take 12-20 weeks to process... we could be there for Christmas

Hi all

Sorry to hear some people are still awaiting overdue medical requests. They seem to be in batches and it could come down to which case officer is dealing with yours. All very frustrating nonetheless.

My timeline:

Surely not a "total" one?

Maybe just half - that's no good to anyone.

Hope you didn't pay for 4 Corners' Resettlement? We found it useless and a total waste of money. Visa service great tho. Good luck for xmas landing.

Unhappy Re: Skilled Worker Class Timeline from UK

Just want to put some news in everyones day. I came to Canada 30 years ago and it wasn't easy then. I must say it didn't take more than 6 months to get everything in order. The work is in Manitoba you may have to start at a ground level position it's worth a try. The West Coast are screaming for people in the trades. They can't find people at all some people are coming from Newfoundland because there is no work there. I am in the process of helping a cousin get in age is a factor right now he is 46 so he is at the border line age wise.
Anyway just wanted to pass on a little info to you

well as yous know I just lost the plot last week and we ended things with our immigration lot so we have been checking things out for ourselves and going down family sponsoring route seems to be our best option and its faster.I cant afford to head bang Im daft enough with all this waiting and being messed around with consultants telling us we will go where they tell us crap.if the family sponsoring falls flat then its time to give up and settle where we are enough is enough for me)

Angry Re: Skilled Worker Class Timeline from UK

Hi Kate
Do you have family in Canada? Depending on how you are related, depends on how you can get in to Canada. The best way is to get a job sponsor. Also it seems like the Canadian Immigration will let everyone but us British in. It makes me so angry. Going through these agency seems a joke also. My cousin was telling me all about those. Well good luck keep trying...................

Hi Shirley
yeah I have a aunt uncle and 3 cousins living in Ontario and we feel like there is someone up there saying SUCKERS YOUR NOT GETTING IN my family have already offerd to sponcer us but we wanted to try and do things by ourselfs we have had 2 immigration companies working for usthe first told James he would be better to sit his Class 1 for a driving job so he did and passed first time, then we were told as my first born was handycaped we would not get in to canada.then we hear the ban had been lifted so we tried again the last company we spent 14 months with and thay said thay could get us in to Ontario WAIT FOR THIS after we paid the $4000 (not $2000 )as James mistakely told someone.we were told we could not get in to Ontario as the PMP was not in on Ontariowe were told we would have to go to PIE from there to NB from there to NS from there to Alberta or BC HELL PITCH A TENT WITH THE BEARS atleast we would be warm in the winterso we had enough time to end things with the company we were with,so we are going to try the family sponcer way and if that fails then thats it I ve had it.holidays will do just fineSPOT THE DONKEYS EH

Well done you, no we only had the basic service with them, glad we did if your experience was not good. Where about in Canada are you?
