BFDate is not the next date that your file will be reviewed. It is the date that the file will be looked at if nothing is received in the meantime, such as results of checks etc. If they are waiting for something and it comes as expected then the file is processed as quickly as practicable afterward.

Hi Jim - any ideas what they could still be waiting on?? Papers state 'personal informaton completed' on all 5 of us and it seems to indicate that the medicals and criminal checks are all acceptable.

We really are a boring case, no other marriages, no other kids, no other country of residence (other than UK) and no criminal record of any kind. Thought this might be the one instance that being boring would be a benefit - may have live on the edge from now on!!!!!

Could you post some of the actual CAIPS log? it's kind of difficult to help you without it.. BTW thanks Jim for clearing that up about the BFDate

not sure how I could post any of it, it really is a printout of data and 12 pages of it at that!!! As I said above though, it looks like the 'big' issues are covered, so not sure what else it could be.

It says things like payment not received, then later, received and the date etc. FOSS no concerns, passed selection, Scotland Yard pc received, meds seen and valid .......

Still none the wiser.
