I want to sponsor my mother under family immigration. Guideline for family
immigration says 'Sponsors must show they have a record of stable income over a
12-month period.'.

I landed on December 2000, and my income earned in canada exceeds LICO for sponsoring
one family class relative. (Low Income Cut of Table). Since I made this income in
last 8 months, can they reject on the grounds that I havent had stable income over
last 12 month period.

Should I wait for one year, before applying for sponsoring a relative?

Thanks for your answers

You may apply to be approved as a sponsor as soon as your net Canadian income reaches
LICO minimums.
