Quebec Immigration

I have applied to immigration through Quebec. I got my CSQ back in September 6, 2001,
and sent my application to the Buffalo Office, including the CSQ by the end of that
month. My question is: Am I going to be evaluated through the new regulations?
As far as I understand, Quebec did not do any changes to their immigration law, and
the Federal Government is only going to do the medical and criminal checks as I have
been already accepted by Quebec (with an CSQ)
Am I right in thinking that I will not be evaluated again against any point criteria,
or be evaluated against the new regulations? Am I right in thinking that I should
only wait for medical and criminal checks to be done, in order to receive my LP?
Thanks for your comments. Ingrid

You understand correctly: once you have your CSQ the Federal Government is only going
to do the medical and criminal checks.
The proposed changes in the immigration do not affect the Quebec selection System.
