Proof of funds

Hello,
I am applying under the Independent Skilled worker category. My wife is a dependent
on my application. As proof of funds, I plan to send my bank statement. I need to
prove CDN $12,000. But my balance is short by just about 50-60 $. Can I send my
wife's bank statement to cover-up for that (she is a dependent on my application).
I basically want to send the application before my next payroll, which will be 2
weeks from now.
Thanks.

There would be no problem with the inclusion of your accompanying spouse's bank
statement. This would certainly be counted towards the assessment of funds for the
case. Additional information on this topic may be found at Campbell, Cohen's web site
