Proof of funds
Hi peeps,
I am in the UK and thinking of moving to canada, as proof of funds would
they except the a valuation of my house. We bought it for 48k and its now
worth 70, if we get a valuation from the bank would this be ok as proof of
funds ?
Any info would be great
Cheers
Jon.

Hi Jon,
I'm thinking the same as you too, but I think the regulations state that it
has to be un-encumbered or liquid assets..ie cash, bearer bonds...stuff like
that. But I could be wrong. The consultants'll be along in a minute with the
right answer :0)

Objective valuation of a property would generally be considered valid as
evidence of settlement funds.
