Experts please: Q about visa stamp in passport
Hello experts,
Can you tell me what does the immigration visa look like?
Is there any reference to "immigration" or "immigrant" anywhere on the
visa sticker, or is it like ordinary Canadian visitor visas?
I am worried because I may run into some problems if "immigration" is
affixed in my passport.

This is odd! When I landed I did not get a 'visa' stamped in my
passport, the immigration officer fileld in the gaps in my IMM1000 and
amde an entry stamp in my passport and mentioned my IMM number there,
that's all. Nothing to say 'visitor' or 'immigrant'!
Cheers

Re: Experts please: Q about visa stamp in passport
you must have done so in the old imm1000 days... under the new regs there is no more imm1000... what happens now is, the visa office affixes a counterfoil sticker in your passport, and you are given a "confirmation of permanent residence" document... you present this document and the immigrant visa in your passport at the time of landing...
