I recently posted about applying at Port of Entry, and I am sure this gets asked all the time, but if I was realistically to submit my paperwork in the UK embassy online,

will the process take the 8-10 weeks it states or is this an average? What are peoples experiences with applying as a temporary foreign worker, can it take much shorter times if paperwork is in line etc?

8-10 seems to be pretty much spot on for most, it's rarely quicker than 8 weeks.
