Processing Time
Dear Mr. Miller,
my father had applied for candian immigration in june 2001 and then he got the letter in august 2003 from the canadian high commission asking him the proof of english proffeciency. because of some personal problems and his busy schedule he did not appear for IELTS then he wrote the letter to candian high commission for the extension of the period for the proof of english proffeiciency certificate. then the high commission gave him the extension then he appeared for IELTS on 16 of october 2004. he had sent his original IELTS results to canadian high commission. could you please tell us how much time it would take much to get immigtation. he had applied from islamabad, pakistan.

Nobody can tell you how long it will take now - if your father would have provided IELTS back in 2003 when asked then by now he would have his case completed. But now it is really unknown as his case most likely became a subject to class action lawsuit
