Default adding the new born after visa issuance

Please advise me Mr Jim, Mr.Andrews, Mr Miller

I have completed my medicals along with my wife in October 2004 except for my wife X ray which we deferered as she is 7 months pregnant and we are expecting our baby in about 2 months.

I have submitted our passports (myself and spouse) immediately after doing the medicals along with the RPRF for myself and my spouse as per the request of High Commission in November 2004.

In November 2004 I have recieved another letter from High Commission saying that my spouse has to complete even X ray examination within 30 days of recieving letter i.e., December 2004.

BUT RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING I HAVE BEEN MENTIONING IN MY MAILS TO HIGH COMMISSION THAT MY SPOUSE IS PREGNANT AND IS EXPECTING IN THE MONTH OF JANUARY. IN THE MEDICALS ALSO MY WIFE MENTIONED THAT SHE IS GOING TO EXPECT THE NEW BORN IN THE MONTH OF JANUARY AND HENCE SHE HAS POSTPONED HER X RAY EXAMINATION. AT NO POINT OF TIME WE WERE SUGGESTED BY HIGH COMMISSION TO WAIT FOR THE BABY TO BE DELIVERED AND ADD THE BABY TO THE APPLICATION.

NOW I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT AFTER VISAS ARE ISSUED BEFORE THE BABY IS BORN, I HAVE TO LAND IN CANADA BEFORE THE BABY IS BORN. AND THE TIME IS VERY SHORT AND I CANNOT LAND IN CANADA BEFORE THE BABY IS BORN.(I RESIDE IN INDIA)

IF VISAS ARE ISSUED FOR MYSELF AND MY SPOUSE AFTER COMPLETING THE PENDING XRAY EXAMINATION THEN WHAT SHOULD WE DO? CAN I REQUEST HIGH COMMISSION TO ADD MY BABY TO THE APPLICATION BY RESUBMITTING OUR PASSPORTS AND COPR OR ELSE REQUEST HIGH COMMISSION TO PUT ON HOLD OUR FILE (PASSPORTS , RPRF ALREADY SUBMITTED) WILL IT HAVE A NEGATIVE IMPACT ON OUR APPLICATION.

PLEASE SUGGEST ME A WAY OUT.

thanq in advance

Visas won't be issued until your wife completes medicals anyway and she won't do it before baby is born, so your question is irrelevant. Your biggest mistake was going through medicals in the first place - instead of doing partial medicals you shoul have notify visa post about your wife expecting baby and asking for extension to do medicals. By doing partial medicals you just added more confusion to your file.

thanq for you reply sir,

But in my case I was asked to pay RPRF and medicals within 60 days hence had to do that.
What should i do now sir?

Should I request the High Commission to put on hold my file and submit the baby details after it is born?

I have submitted the passports on their instructions. Does that prevents me from requesting in the above manner.

your advice is needed sir.

I assume that you are dealing with CHC New Delhi - they are often request passports well in advance for cases that are not after final decision yet. Visas won't be issued until medicals are completed and fully accepted, period. You should immediately and very clearly notify CHC that your wife is expecting in 2 months and that she won't do x-rays until baby is born. Yoou also write that you will be adding baby to your case and ask for instructions.
