Hi all,
Hope you all had a good christmas and new year and all the best wishes for 2005.
I applied for my criminal record, last year and still haven't heard anything after the 40 days they (police, NIS) have to reply. After been sent around the houses on the phone they have told me to apply again. I hope the rest of the application doesn't carry on this way.
Has this happened to anyone else as the NIS (national identification service) has in fact broken the law I was wondering if I could do anything about it.....at least get my £10 back
Its amazing how by law they have 40 days to reply and if they don't then its my fault and I have to apply again. If it was me who didn't reply to them in 40 days I'd be no doubt fined a hefty amount........isn't the system good!!!
