PR landing questions
I am planning to land at Detroit-Windsor border crossing & I have few
questions:
1. In the Confirmation of Permenant Residence document, there is a
place for "Client Signature" to sign & there are 2 other places to
sign in this form. Do I have to sign this form at the presence of an
Immigration offcer or should I sign this prior to going there?
2. Reg. settlement funds, is it mandatory to take the whole $12,000
(for myself & spouse) in Cashiers Check? Or, can I bring $2,000
Cashiers check & a statement/letter from US bank showing the
checking/savings account balance. I do have ATM access & on the day of
landing, I can get the ATM slip. Does this create any problem at
landing? I do not want to take any chance.
Thanks in advance.

Hasn't it ocurred to you that one wants to live in Cnada for other reasons than money? Maybe you should start living a little for a change.
