Default postponing interview

Dear all,
I received an invitation to an interview (the end of February) for PR
in Canada. But I'm going to get married this summer and want to take
my wife and her child with me. And I would like to be sure that my
family will be allowed to get PR in Canada. Can I ask Canadian embassy
to consider my situation and postpone my interview?
Thank you,

It is better to attend the interview and get positive selection decision
now - if you will be interviewed after March 2003 then you will be assessed
under new law and may not qualify, so don't blow your chance. It will still
take several months after the interview to have final decision as medical
and background/security checks must be completed - in Russia it may take up
to a year for background/security check to conclude anyway. During the
interview you may notify officer about your plans and then add your wife and
her child to your application.

There would be no better way to find out whether your wife and child can
accompany you than to attend your interview and, if possible, add them to
your application. The visa officer could then tell you how to go about
doing that.

Privet, Serega!
don't be "durak" - attend the interview or they may consider you not
willing to move to Canada. You can then sponsor your future wife's
arrival (one of my contacts has done that way). If you postpone the
interview- it may be no sooner than in a year!!! the laws can change again.
If your family status changes after the interview, you will still have
to land in Canada within 1 year after the medicals, and you can get
trapped in a cat and mouse game over the medicals of your wife and the
child. So go as scheduled ,don't loose your time
