Default Police Report Question

I am currently in Canada (Totonto) on a work permit with my family and have submitted my Skilled worker application to Buffalo (Its already approved by CIC Sydney). All supporting document has been submitted apart from my Sri Lankan Police Certificate. To give a little bit of background: I lived in UK for 26 years and a naturalized British Citizen holding a British Passport. I have obtained the UK Police certificate which has been submitted.

However, I also need to submit the Police Certificate for Sri Lanka as well, which is problematic as I am no longer a Sri Lankan Citizen of hold any kind of official Sri Lankan document (Identity card, Passport etc).

So my question is will CIC Buffalo insist on me submitting my SL Police certificate to complete the processing of my Skill Worker application?

Best Regards

Yes, if you lived there for more than 6 months after the age of 18. See the Sri Lankan Toronto consulate for the PCC. The application is here: http://www.slcg-toronto.com/index.ph...d=48&Itemid=61

Very likely they will insist - its a check off matter for them. Did you live there for 6 months or more after your 18th birthday? That is the question.

Yes, I did. But the problem is that I do not have any official document they are asking (Passport, Identity card etc..)...
