Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines
Hi guys,
I'm a new poster here, but I have been following this thread closely as I too pursued PR via PNP. Here's my timeline:-
BUNAC working holiday visa August 2009
Applied BCPNP May 2010
Nominated September 2010
TWV November 2010
Applied Buffalo January 21st 2011 (received date)
Med requests August 9th 2011
RPRF November 2011
"In process" November 21st 2011
PPR March 2nd 2012
COPR April 10th 2012
Landed April 16th 2012
It's certainly a long old road! Good luck to everyone else still on the path; you'll get there in the end!

Mynsey, many congratulations.
Seattle received our docs in Feb and then requested extra information. They recieved that on 9th March and we are still awaiting our COPR, oh well it is only 6 weeks!!!!! I am sure the registered letter will arrive very soon

Thanks BC Bound and Mad Jockette! Not long for you guys now
When we landed at Peace Arch yesterday, the immigration officers gave my husband and me a little Canadian flag each and a badge! We thought that was a pretty cute touch It took about 30-40mins, pretty painless really.
Make sure you get your items to follow list together ASAP, I left that until we had COPR but it helps to be better organised than that I would think.
Good luck to you both

Is it just yourself on the application, or do you have dependents?
Apparently those without dependents are processed faster. I'm hoping that isn't the case!

I don't think there is any differentiation. We have friends a couple, no kids- meds done last Sept 2011, AINP went through CPP Ottawa and still no passport request

Heya Wolst,
Applied as a couple, not sure if there is any logic with the sequence of application processing. Hope you hear some positive news soon considering the similarity in our timescales....
Heya Mynsey,
Thanks for the Items to Follow tip.
Anyone know if you can submit another Items to Follow if already here on a TWP?
Thanks

hi BC Bound,
Yes, you can do an items to follow list even when you are already here on a TWP. That's what we did and the immigration officer was satisfied. It's just a boring list to fill out
We didn't bother doing accompanying list as we weren't bringing anything new to Canada. We explained this to immigration officer and they were happy.
Have fun doing your write-up!

Hubby just rang to say our Passport Requests arrived this morning.
Coming to the end of what has been such a very long journey for our family from start to finish to get here and call Canada home.
Good Luck to everyone still waiting
