Hi, there,

I am a landing immigrant and am currently sponsoring my finacee to immigrate to
canada. My finacee is working in US now, holding a US working visa (H1). Her case was
filed in in September last year and is still pending.

My question is: Can my fiancee apply for a visitor visa to Canada to visit me now? I
read some similar posts in this group that she might have little chance to get a
non-immigrant visa if she has already filed in an immigrant application. In our case,
honestly she will only relocate to Canada after her immigration is approved, because
she currently has a job in US. It would only be a temporary visit this time. Would
these facts convince the visa officer? Any advice will be appreciated.
