Default PGWP application

Hi,
I have a couple of questions about PGWP application and I can't seem to find the answers I need. I am just wondering if someone can help.
I am due to finish a Bachelors degree at SFU in August and am wondering...

Once I am notified from SFU that I have completed my courses, do I have to stop working?

Does my husband has to stop working too?

If so, once I have submitted my PGWP application (I am presuming this will only take a few days?), can we both start working again?

Thanks

1. As long as your study permit is valid, you can continue to work, you have 180 days after notification of graduation to apply for a PGWP.
2. Your spouse can work until his/her work permit expires. Once you have received your PGWP and obtained a job in NOC A, B or O, and have 3 pay stubs, then s/he could apply for a spousal open work permit. Note that if his/her work permit expires, before s/he obtains a SOWP, then s/he has to apply for status as a visitor and can't work.

Mr understanding is that students may work part time on the basis of a valid study permit until they receive notification their program has been completed. Once this is received they are no longer authorized to work.
However, once their program is complete they may work full time on implied status subject to having submitted a Post Graduation Work Permit Application while the study permit was still valid until they receive a decision on their application (as per R186w).
