I think we would all have to land as we have same expiry date on each individual copr!!
And yes have i sworn many a time today, and you know how us brits like to complain
CIC like to keep us on our toes and try to bankrupt us in this whole process!! I will be relieved when we finally go on a one way flight!!

Im chuckling reading this thread. Most posters usually are complaining about how long it is taking for their applications to be processed etc etc.
In this one they have been given their COPRs but now complaining they havent been given enough time to land
Seriously I did sort of do a double take when I saw the expiry for landing date
. Yes CIC are human and the 2 is next to the 3 on a keyboard.
I hope the OP doesnt have a swear jar in the house after opening the COPR letter and reading the expiry date.
Yes the main applicant can land before the other family members but make sure the others try not to land before the principal (main) applicant.

the main applicant can't bring all the passports over (1 flight ticket).
When we all come over, the main applicant has to be first in the queue.

No main applicant cannot bring the other passports and COPRs
No your kid could cut in front of you in the queue

Well we received a reply today......
Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your message.
The visa validity date was tied to the expiration date of your son's passport (22 May 2012). However, as he is no longer accompanying you, your validity will be extended to the date that your medical validity expires.
Please return the COPR forms to our office and I will arrange for new ones with the appropriate validity date to be sent to you.
Sincerely,
NMP
High Commission of Canada/Haut-commissariat du Canada
My husbands son has never been accompanying us from the very beginning.....CIC make me roar......be glad when the COPR are back in my hands with a lovely long expiry date....and of course i have sent it special delivery and enclosed a paid special delivery envelope to hopefully get it back quicker.
Sigh......
