Good grief who's spreading nonsense rumours now? You need 75 points
wherever you go.

If you do not understand the law perhaps you should listen to someone
who does. Stuart has contributed to the Newsgroup for a long time now
and he is correct, you need only meet the point total of 55 points and
if you obtain the PNP certification you do not have to meet the 75
points when the application is processed through a visa office. There
have been changes whereby you must have either worked or studied in
Manitoba or have a confirmed job offer or a relative living in
Manitoba in order to be considered. The number of applications
received by Manitoba has jumped from about 3 - 4 thousand last year to
over 25,000 this year.
