Hi All,

I have a citizenship hearing next week (surpringly one week's notice only!).

I have some questions regarding the hearing process. Before my application process started I also held an H1 visa. During process of the application, I have also travelled for work to US every now and then. Now, I have the following questions.


1. why the hearing? (is this because I also held H1 visa; would this have a negative impact on my application)?
2. what to expect?
3. what kind of questions will be asked?
4. what papers or docuements to take with me?
6. Should i also take my old lease to prove my residence?
7. would any current docuements such current mortgage documents, statements, etc would help in anyway?


I will appreciate a quick response, since my hearing is next few days.

P.S. my application took almost 2 years to come to a point for hearing. Does this say anything?
