Default Mr Miller.. Your advice sought (landing in Canada and H1 visa)

I had posted this on this forum earlier too. I got my landing papers
and now I am planning to land in canada. Currently I am on H1B visa
working in USA. I need to get my H1 revalidated/stamped in Canada
since it has expired. Can I land in Canada, get my H1 stamped in US
consulate there and return back to canada? Will there be any problem
for stamping? The website www.nvars.com says that if you are on H1
then its not advisable to get your visa stamped in third country
(canada or mexico) and I need to go back to India (home country) to
get it stamped. What do you think can be done in this respect. If I
cant get my h1 stamped then I cant enter in USA back. Its catch22.
Your advise sought.
