Mr. Miller, please help - Evidence of Financial Support for Dependant Child under Family Class
Hi Mr. Miller,
I am sponsoring my mother and my sister as her dependent under family
class. One of the required document from the Singapore Post checklist
requests an evidence of fianncial support for dependent child who has
been enrolled full time in school since 22. My sister has always
withdrawn funds using an International ATM Card and has no tangible
evidence for the fiancial support. What's the best way to show such
financial support. Would a letter signed by both my mom and my sister
acknowledging the financial support suffice?
Thanks again for your help.

It is not about how your sister withdraws her money - it is about evidence
that her daughter if fully financially dependent on her. So, evidence of
paying for the school expenses (tuition, books, board, etc.) and other
living expenses will have to be presented.

Mr. Miller,
Thanks for your prompt response. The difficulty faced is my sister
uses my mother's ATM issued in Thailand to withdraw the money in the
US to pay for all her school expenses. How do we prove such financial
support? What evidence do you suggest we give? Also, she receives
some scholarship from the University, will this disqualify her as a
dependent?
