Moved: TWP To PR ... Changes?
With the upcoming election and changes to immigration pending, does anyone have an opinion on what is likely to happen to those on TWP who might wish to get PR. Is the fast track system for those working in Canada likely to disappear
I realise nobody has a crystal ball, but has it been discussed anywhere, in the media or by immigration experts.
thanks in advance
Should be in canada immigration forum, could mods move please?

If the PM calls an election, as seems likely, then many changes will die and have to be re-introduced. That is a sure year delay. But the PNPs will not be affected so that is the route to follow. Also, persons with LMOs will still get speedier processing too.

All pending changes and/or election will not affect PNP and federal SW with arranged employment in any negative way. Providing of course that Conservatives will continue running the government after election - if not then all bets are off.
