Medicals and body weight
Hi all,
I'm just a little worried about my and my OH's medicals. We a both well with no long term health problems but will probably be pulled up about our weight.
Neither of us are in the obese category of BMI calculators, but we would both fall in the over weight category. I'm currently working out like mad with a personal trainer to help correct this but I'm not too sure if it will be enough in time for our medicals
Has anyone any idea how seriously weight issues are viewed and if it woudl be enough for us to be rejected??
Many thanks

Hi
We just went for medicals yesterday in London. My husband is overweight and they said nothing about it. So don't worry, you'll be fine. If your general health is ok, there'll be no problems I'm sure

I'm in the same boat, and reading past topics and contacting the experts around here assured me that it won't be a problem. Normal BP, no diabetes, no long term medical issues and good overall health should be the focus.

Re: Medicals and body weight
please please dont worry. as previous posts have said. so long as your BP is fine and you dont have diabetes you'll be ok.
hubby and i are both overweight and it wasnt a problem for me... hubby had high bp - that had to be investigated.
