MED REQUESTS!

MED REQUESTS!
Had a package from the Canadian high commision come today....feared the worst as my ECAS told me my application only started processing on November 5th. Sure enough I forgot to sign one little section on the additional family info part of my application...so it asks me to sign and re submit using the enclosed supply label. Then, marked just below with green highlighter...the little MEDICAL EXAMINATION box is ticked and also in the parcel was my medical report and all the instructions on booking the medical!!
SOOO happy! another step closer!!!
I'm a little confused though, shouldn't I have received a 120 updated documents letter before meds?? Also, anyone know the average wait from med results being received to the next stage??

I never receieved anything to notify us that the embassy had our application. Like you our medicals just came through the post with a request for a couple of other minor bits of information. From taking the medical to receiving the passport request was a little under 3 weeks. Hope this helps and good luck!

im applying as a federal skilled worker (2) started the application procedure in may (sydney) london received my application in august, started processing november 5th. med requests today...got the meds booked for next thursday, have to drive 2 hrs to kingston though, peterborough and surrounding area is booked solid til mid january! 
how long after medical does it take for them to receive your results??

congrats!! pretty much identical timelines!! i was a little discouraged calling clinic after clinic and being told mid january...but after about phonecall number 10 i got lucky!! my work permit expires tuesday...but il be on implied status as i applied to extend it like 6 weeks ago. hopefully this PR thing is taken care of in the next month or 2!!

HA! again...almost the exact same!! hopefully we can both celebrate PR early in the new year!! could you PM me after your meds and let me know what it involves, how long it takes, stress levels to be expected!! haha
