Re: Looking for a Lawyer or Consultant
hire a lawyer
reasons:
1) they studied about law for so many years,
2) they are regulated bar a bar association which includes testing, ethics,
etc., consultants are not regulated at all, and one article in cic said there
are MANY unethical consultants.
3) lawyers can represent you to the courts wheras consultants can not,
something goes wrong with your application you'll need a lawyer anyway.
more good reasons to come.

Re: Looking for a Lawyer or Consultant
1) new immigration law is less than 1 years old anyway, you stupid
moron
2) there are also unethical lawyers - even one who contributed for few
years to this forum got suspended. Not mentioning that majority of her
answers were always wrong here...
3) the point is to make sure that case is not screwed up and never
needs to be taken to the court in the first place. Some lawyers may
have vested interest in messing up the case enough to make more money
by taking it to the court - did you ever think of that? Oops, I forgot
- you are not a "thinker" type anyway...
