Hello,
I was wondering if any one could help with regards to timelines from London. I
applied from U.A.E.
I applied as Computer programmer 09/00 AOR recd 12/00 Interview Required notification
02/01 Since then nothing but silence. It has been 4 months. I am now awaiting the
interview date.
Has anyone made any progress with London CHC lately? Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you, Joe

Hi,
I am a computer programmer from Ireland.
I applied in Jan 01, recieved AOR Feb 01, interview required notification Feb 01.
I have heard nothing since.
I am in the same boat as you.
I have put to the back of my mind, and am prepared for the long wai.
MK.

I asked this question at the Immigration fare in UK a couple of months ago. I'm a
Software programmer (IT Consultant) but luckily didn't require an interview.
Unfortunately the longest wait for Canada is waiting for an interview. I was told
it's nearly 12 months from the time they inform you that an interview is required, to
when you actually go to the interview. They said there's a huge waiting list. If you
don't need to have an interview, It can be all sorted in 9months - 1 Year.
BTW, I applied for Australia a few years ago (got in and lived their for two years).
It took THREE YEARS to prosess our application - and they don't even do interviews.
And still the time went quite quickly enough, so don't give up, hang in their and you
will wonder where the time went.
Cheers
Tim

Depends on a lot of factors ! Some are lucky enough to get through in as little as
two and a half months, but working on a worst case is often the best bet. all else is
then a bonus !
