Hello, everyone , my LMIA was submitted on December 15,2023, employer locates on BC province. High rate stream , carpenter ! 52 business days passed up to now , it indicated 48 business days for average processing time . How long Do I still need to wait with patience?

2nd question : I will take LMIA letter for border work permit application. Which documents I need Collect and take ?

It's usually 3-4 months, so hopefully won't be long but remember the average processing time is just that - so some will be less and some will be more. Is this the first LMIA the employer has applied for? They often take longer as they're scrutinised more closely.

And for work permit at POE you'll need proof of your qualifications, CV, job offer letter and employment contract, plus of course money to pay the the fee and your LMIA.
