Just a quick one
can I have two LMIA applications under my name. Different places, different employers. Can they be both accepted?
Thanks

Morally though, asking two employers to spend money and lots of time on the app when you can only work for one of them...........that’s between you and your conscience.

Re: LMIA
I do understand moral dilemma although I was told many LMIA applications are being rejected and finding new employer after first one has been rejected , then waiting another processing time would be simply a waste of time in my opinion. I would be more than happy to pay back 1000 dollars for an application if I turn an offer down.

If you do decide to go with both and they each think you intend to work for them if it’s granted, make sure you come up with a blooming good excuse for not taking the job for the one you don’t go with!

Re: LMIA
It’s not just that though (and you can’t pay the $1000, the employer is legally responsible). It’s that the employers may then decide not to bother with foreign workers again if they invest time and money for nothing. We’ve seen it happen on the forum before, and it could just impact those that try to follow in the future.
