Default Landing with Family

Hi Everyone

We are landing in Vancouver on Monday and will be activating my permanent residency (spouse sponsorship). We're trying to find out what happens at the immigration desks - will by wife and daughter be able to continue through to get bags & rental car (her idea!), or will we all have to wait together?

About us:
Me - British Citizen (with COPR)
Wife - Canadian
Daughter (Toddler/Canadian)

Thanks

Paul

Depends if you are referred for a Customs secondary (not Immigration) examination. If no Customs exam required then they can leave. Immigration secondary exam is completely different to a Customs secondary exam.

Thanks FL - we were hoping you would reply

We're just dreading a 2-4 hour wait with a toddler after a 10 hour flight . It's all part of the process though eh!
