job adverts - how long should they be advertised for
Hi
The company that has offered my husband work is not too sure of the immigration process.
Were trying to help him out as much as we can, he needs to submit an LMO but what I need to know is how long does he have to advertise a job for;
I'd heard it was 7 days with the new list etc
but I've also read it was 3 months
Which is right or are both wrong lol

Re: job adverts - how long should they be advertised for
I believe that it's a minimum of two weeks now (used to be 3 months but recently changed) - 7 days is only for occupations on the OUP lists.
And remember that it has to be nationwide so they'll need to put it on the internet and national newspapers rather than just local ones.
Hope that helps.
