Blimey. Thats quick.

We had meds Jan9. Retests over the next weeks.
Another 2 week waiting to get paid (darned landing fees) before sending off payments.

We were advised to expect a 2 month wait after meds were
sent away from where we are (NS) to London then to wherever
they end up.

Expecting to hear something sometime in March, so fingers crossed. Any day now.

Unless they ask for police reports. Again. Old ones will be 12 months old just now.

Thanks........I had a chat with a lawyer who stated possibly 4 months ! No real panic but can see the 'light at the end of the tunnel.' So just want to get on with my life ! Appreciate your comments.

We had to wait 30 days after our meds were taken to send off our passports but we were applying via the PNP route.

Good luck nearly there now!

I had mine early feb in BC and am trying not to climb the walls.

FWIW, here's the timeline, which I really should post on that thread;
job offer in early march 2008
BC PNP application made same month,
TWP received in July, started work the next day
PR application in late october
Medical in early Feb
Now popping bubblewrap in March

Hi,

Yes we were really lucky, we had meds on 29/11/08 and received PPR on 19/12/08, were not expecting to hear on PPR until at least the end of Jan 09, we sent passports 20/12/08 and had them back mid Jan.

Good luck, hope you all get PPR soon

sprucemoose is on a distinguished road
Default Re: Quick question on time between Medicals and PR.

London received my medical results in early February. Since I'm in Canada, I expect a few extra weeks postage time tacked on too, unless they send an email instead. I've heard a few people have been given PPR this way. But I've not heard anything yet.

I'm so worried that they've sent it out to the wrong address again. (The medical requests were actually three months late because of this error.)

I would also like to know that, so far it has not updated from 'In Progress', would it be too much to have a few sub status messages like 'Documents - Requested', 'Documents - Received', 'Medical - Requested' or 'Medical -Received'!
