IS there any chance Islamabad office will be closed temporarily because of threats of
possible retaliations from Afghanistan? What will happen to pending applications?

It is quite possible that the Embassy would be closed or at very least = they would
be dealing with other issues. Islamabad is already an = overstressed office with
operational difficulties. =20

This should only compound that situation.

Nadeem, let us hope things come to normal as soon as possible. I've the same doubt
that CHC Islamabad might be closed temporarily as US embassy is closed temporarily.

My interview is in 2 weeks time at CHC Islamabad. So it might be delayed if they
close CHC. I will call them before going for interview to confirm the the
appointment. So you can also do the same and be in touch with them.
