Interview timeline has elapsed (Mr A Miller please answer )

Interview timeline has elapsed (Mr A Miller please answer )
Hi,
I had aplied for Immigration in Nov.'2000 and was informed that I
will have to attend an interview. Now it has been more than 2 years
and still no contact at all. I had posted a letter to the Authorities
in London enquiring abt the status of my application and I have still
not received a reply. I have also faxed them another letter last week
(approx 10 days )and still nary a word.
Am worried now as to the reason for this silence and would like to
know as to what steps I should take next.
Your answer will be appreciated. I am in Oman and have applied to
the London office.

It is quite outside CHC London timeline as so far all our clients who's
cases were submitted in the first half of 2001 already received their visas
and majority of those with cases submitted in the second half of 2001 and
required to attend the interview either received visas or passed the
interview and are waiting for visas. Visa posts don't respond to status
requests made within their published processing times although London
usually replies if time indicated in pink slip already passed - silence in
such situation is not a good sign.
Your next step should be hiring an experienced immigration professional
based in Canada who can access your file and see what is going on, assist
you in solving problems and prepare you for the interview.
