Which month's application are now processed in Buffalo?
I have sent an application for Skilled immigration last year and most likely have several months to go.
Did you receive the response (interview or no interview) from the Buffalo office recently? If you did, when did you applied?
I wanted to check what is the wait at this time for Skilled immigration to Canada through Buffalo's office so I can estimate the date for response to my application.
Thanks.

I finally received my initial assessment today:
My timeline is as follows:
Applied on: 6th December 2001
AOR: 30th January 2002
Initaial Assessment and medicals: Issued on 11th January 2002
received on 17th
January 2003.
They do require some additional docs such as my Last paystub, W-2
(2001) and fresh FBI clearence. But I DO NOT have to wait six months
to complete medicals. I thoroughly read the assessment and it says
complete the medicals in 60 days, also I have 90 days to send the
additional docs.

Experts can you please suggest what is going on?

Well, I am assuming the nationality of the applicant makes a big difference.
That explains why applicants are advised to do medicals within 2 months or
wait until 6 months later.

According to the current replys to the topic, it seems that it takes about 1 year for response (interview/ no interview) from the AOR receipt.
Is anyone aware is the current response rate speeding up or slowing down?
