Default interpreting correspondance - medical/interview waiver?

Applying immigration in family class (sent late Jan) in the UK. Received a
form letter yesterday from London asking me to go for a medical. The wording
of the letter is a little ambiguous, but the final sentence reads 'Please
note when all requirements are met we will write to you with instructions to
submit a valid passport or travel document in order to issue your immigrant
visa'. Does this mean that, assuming my medical is ok, the decision to grant
me permanent residence has been made, at least in principle, and that an
interview has been waived? I keep on hearing about 'interview waivers' and
'acceptance in principle', but the correspondance I receive does not seem to
state anything in such clear terms.

Thanks for advice,
BMA

It would appear from the letter that the interview has been waived. If
nothing untoward appears on your background/criminal/medical then you will
most likely be issued a PR visa.
