Re: IELTS score came in today-please evaluate
oh, considering that fact that both my hubby and I graduated from a Canadian university, the score is not that great...
At first, we were thinking of sending a reference letter from an employer for English ability, but changed mind to take a test instead since it is much safer to claim full points.
Anyway, I think taking an IELTS preparation course might help if you don't have much time. However, it should be ok if you study the books regular basis.

Congratulations.... you guys are good now. 7 or more is required to claim all 16 points. Now you can enjoy peace of mind. CIC is not going to ask you any further question related to language skills. Well done.
