Am reviving this thread. So whats the status of the early 2006 cases. I am not sure what is happening here. One of my friends applied in the SW category in June 2005 and she received her PPR yesterday - while I applied in June 2004 and still have no PPR. My CAIPS notes say:
PSDEC - 1 28/4/2005
SELDEC - 4 28/4/2005
BDEC (is blank) 12/5/2005
MEDDEC 1 6/12/2005
OREQ - 1 6/12/2005
FINDEC 0

What does this mean?

The e-CAS finally changed to medicals received.

Anyone in the same boat?

I am sorry, but it is hard to believe that there will be such a delay. If it were really true, people wouldn't be getting PRs from Buffalo. There are many emails every day, where people keep saying 'Got it' (http://www.canada-city.ca/canada-immigration/index.php)
So, just stay believing and everything will be ok.

Yes there was/is delay. I hope Buffalo quata was over and now with new year they started to issue new immigrant visa. My process was complete in Aug 05 last year and gor passport request in Jan 2006. I also heard thay there is a big delay for getting the file number for new applicants.
