Default how much time ?

My mother (applicant) , i and brother(both dependent) are sponsored as federal skilled worker(mother is sponsored) under arranged employment category.

The file has reached canadian ambessy , new delhi , india on 18 aug as our lawyer has courier it from canada . Now it's been 6 weeks but no response from the embassy . They have not even informed abt d receipt of our file by them . So no rply till now .....

Plz tell me when will we receive any intimation from embassy and regarding what matter ? So plz tell how long will it take for the first intimation n what it contain ?

Can you clarify what you mean when you say your 'mother is sponsored' - by whom?? That might help people give you an answer.

Also, do remember that this forum is for British Expats so there may not be anybody on here that has timescales for you as most of us will have gone via London which will be different from New Delhi.

There is no sponsorship in SW class - your mother simply applied as skilled worker with arranged employment. There is no "arranged employment category" either.

Process may take months or years, depending from many factors. If your mother is not working in Canada on valid work permit and the arranged employment she has is in the form of job offer with positive Arranged Employment Opinion then such arrangement will be investigated. If your mother never talked to employer, if she just paid for the job offer then I see a lot of problems.
