How long does it take once you get an AOR (from London, UK)?
We have just received an AOR from the office in London, UK this week and
were a little surprised to read that it might take up to 15 months to hear
anything from them. Can anyone tell us how long it takes to hear if our
application is successful, and then how long after that it will take to get
the papers so that we can leave?
Thanks!

It may take between 12 to 18 or so months to get assessment notice with
decision about interview (required or waived) from CHC London in Skilled
Workers class. If interview is waived then you'll also get medical forms
shortly and may expect conclusion within anywhere between another 2 months
to over a year, depending from your nationality, background and countries
you resided in as those are factors that will affect time need to do your
background/security check. If interview is required then add to the process
extra 6 to 10 or so months.
So, the entire process may take anywhere from just under 18 months to well
over 3 years.
