Does anyone know how long you have to have PR and have been living in Canada for before you can sponsor a parent - She will be my only immediate relative left in the UK ?

As soon as you reach required minimum income earned within 12 months prior to sponsoring.

u need to meet certain income requirements before u can sponsor ur parents! it dosent matter if u had been in canada fr 1-2 months! but usually, it would take time before u can show the generation of income.

Nope, sorry. It is your income earned in Canada what counts. And of course probability of continuing to earn such income. Savings and investments are irrelevant.
