How long before I can sponsor a parent

Does anyone know how long you have to have PR and have been living in Canada for before you can sponsor a parent - She will be my only immediate relative left in the UK ? :(

Thanks

Thanks for that Andrew, is the amount of savings / investments you have taken into account along with your earnings ? It is quite substantial.

Cheers :)

Nope, sorry. It is your income earned in Canada what counts. And of course probability of continuing to earn such income. Savings and investments are irrelevant.
