Default Help with Truck/Van Rental US-> Canada

I am looking for a one way rental from New York City to Montreal. From my preliminary research I am having no luck.

U-Haul seems to be able to do it but charges 1000.00 for two days.
Enterprise has the vans for cheap, but doesn't allow drop off in a different location.
Hertz doesn't have vans or trucks.

Anybody has any suggestions

Also, is there any problems landing w/ a rented vehicle.

Thanks

Should be not problem with a rental, as long as you only use it to deliver your stuff and then return it. With the cost of the rental, check into the cost for NY to Montreal and then drop off in Nothern US, it might be cheaper.

When the time comes, we already decided to use a moving company. Driving a truck is not the funiest thing

I don't mind driving a truck. (actually I would enjoy it.) I am only trying to be frugal here. Hiring a moving company, plus an airplane ticket will probably be over a 1000 dollars.

Which moving companies would you suggest in the states?
