Help with PR Application

I need help filling out the application for PR.
The applicant's ex has custody of their 15 year old child. She will not accompany him
to Canada. Does he need to get her a passport, provide photos for her?
He has 2 married children who will not accompany him to Canada. Does he need to get
police records for them?

Hi:
The applicant must provide the necessary information for the children despite the
fact that they will not be accompanying him to Canada. The applicant should provide
CIC with copies of his Divorce Judgment and Custody Orders. He does not have to
provide police records for minor children.
