Default HELP!! PNP _WP@POE

Sorry for the panic......

My partner is a midwife going through the PNP program to gain PR......We've hit a bit of a problem...she was unaware that she needed to apply for a work permit when applying trough PNP....i.e we have a letter from PNP approving her application but no work permit ! She is flying out on sunday and is panicing cos she doesn't know what to do!

Her employee said: Take the letter from PNP, the job conformation and the work permit application to POE and apply in person then! IS this possible and if so will they ask for anything else!?

If she is a midwife won't she need a medical? can she get that once she's in Canada?

sorry i know this question gets asked alot but i can't find an answer that relates directly to the situation!!

thank you in advance!

1. She needs a medical before any work permit will be issued. She is going to have to arrange to get the medical forms from CHC, with a medical required she should have been applying for the wp through the office responsible for her place of residence.

Good luck, she will need it.

Hi PMM, is a medical only required due to her occupation? I have a similar question as to what is required at POE for twp with PNP. I assume not all occupations need to show medical for TWP?
