Default help me find possible employment (Civil Engineer)

I got this exchange of ideas just a while ago. i am worried because
this is 2 years old already. I hope to resurect this topic bacause I
plan to pursue a carrer in canada. I hope to hear from anybody for a
help or 2.

i am Arnel from the Philippines. I am graduate of a 5-year civil
engineering course from Xavier University, a Jesuit-run institution. I
am about to complete my graduate degree in Engineering (Master of
Engineering). I am currently employed as a design engineer,
specifically in structural and construction management. I use StaadPro
release 3.1 as my structural tool, I also use CAD release 2002 as my
drafting tool. I use Microsoft Project 2000 as my construction
management tool. For further details, I am more than willing to send
my resume for your perusal.

many thanks to all...

arnel

Here are some websites of some good structural engineering companies
in
Canada:

www.halsall.com
www.yolles.com
www.mhgroup.com
www.rjc.ca
www.astint.on.ca
www.trow.com

Since many of them have multiple offices, it would be best to contact
the Toronto offices. I work at Halsall Associates (the first one),
and
enjoy it immensely. I used to work at Yolles, and am familiar with
most
of the other ones. If you would like to come to Canada, I would
strongly recommend Halsall. We are searching for Structural Engineers
of all levels, and are very busy. We probably pay the best of all of
the ones I have listed. Feel free to contact me for more info.

Regards,

Ted

Hi,

I'm a Civil Engineering from South Africa and I wish
to work in either Canada or Germany as a Civil / Structural Engineer.
If anybody can assist, please contact me. It will make applying for a
work
permit easier if I have a job offer from a company inside one of these
countries.
