Hi,
My wife and I should landing to canada separately. I am in canada and she is in
china. According to the regulation of the canada, immigrant should take enough money
to canada. How much money my wife should take? If I landing first and take more than
$12000, will she still take some money with her?
You helps will be appreciated.

Hi:
The guideline used by CIC is $10,000 CDN per principal applicant and $2,000 CDN per
dependent.
Although this is not a mandatory requirement, many Visa officers treat it as such.
Note, the principal applicant must land first or at the same time as the dependents.
