Help
Has anyone, who apply early October 2001, got interview letter from NYC recently. I have wait over 9 months since the initial assessment, still no news from NYC. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the same boat as you ...
I applied late in September and my file reached Buffalo on October
1st, 2001.
I had my AOR on November 15th 2001, and on October 5th 2002, I
received my accessment letter saying that an interview is required in
NY.
My file was transfered then to NY consulate on November 20th 2002.
On February 5th 2003, I received a letter from NY Consulate asking for
a history residency and work of the spouse. The letter was sent the
day later.
Till now, I haven't heard anything from them.
I am planning to send the new Forms (form IMM008, Schedule 1, and
schedule 3) and proof of proficiency of both languages French and
English to the NY Consulate as soon as possible. I am hoping this will
speed up the process. We'll see.
